Jake Ferraro joined The Smoking Cuban as a contributor just weeks before the Dallas Mavericks 2023-24 season concluded, and later joined SenShot to cover the Ottawa Senators. Ferraro pursued journalism late at Oklahoma State University, but immediately grew to love it. With previously covering the Dallas Stars at Whatahockey, Ferraro wanted to bring more of his content to Mavs and Sens fans as someone who has watched the NBA and NHL for over 15 years. Ferraro is also part of Black & Gold Banneret covering the UCF Knights. In May 2024, Ferraro graduated from OSU with a degree in sports media.
