Where Is Bobby Ryan? Mark Stone Deserves Calder, Erik Karlsson Is Good
Where has Bobby Ryan been? It’s been a very slow period for Ottawa’s 7 million dollar winger, as he hasn’t contributed to any of Ottawa’s recent success. He fell while on a break, fluffed on his shootout attempt and despite a nice assist on Mika Zibanejad’s goal vs WSH, Bobby Ryan has been near invisible lately.
Meanwhile, Mark Stone has continued to be great and Erik Karlsson keeps on breaking records.

Despite the Sens success of late, Bobby Ryan has been struggling to score and he knows it. It’s nice to see Ryan publicly acknowledge he needs to be better. Hopefully he can turn it around soon.

Ary asks if anything should change if Chris Neil is healthy. I think it’s pretty clear now that this team has no use for Neil, and I’ll be very happy if the team realizes that finally.
No matter what positive influence he has in the dressing room, he has a negative impact on the ice, and he shouldn’t be playing in these last five games (and hopefully some games after that in the playoffs),
6th Sens “Mark Stone Merits Calder Consideration” – Nichols
Submission: Jay Nowak
Over at the6thsens.com, Nichols posts his argument to why Mark Stone should get Calder Trophy considerations. With what Stone has done over the past 40 games, I don’t see how the voters don’t give him one of the three finalist spots.
