In an eight-second span, Jan Jenik and Hayden Hodgson each got into a fight just 3:18 into the second period. Cole Reinhardt said it was "awesome" to see the two fights happen so quick. Emotions were high with two fights happening so fast, but Belleville used it to create huge momentum.

Hershey would get a goal back to make it 3-1 with 6:39 remaining in the second period, but one Belleville defenseman continued his hot offensive surge. With just over 30 seconds left in the period, Jorian Donovan scored to give Belleville a 4-1 lead before the second intermission.

"When a team just keeps coming, and like we did, I think it's tough to comeback from," Donovan said about his second period goal.

With his goal, Dorian continues hit surprising hot offensive stretch with recording four points over the past three games with two of them being goals. Dorian was without a goal until this three-game stretch.

"I'm always on his case to shoot the puck," Reinhardt said on Donovan.

In the third period, Belleville scored two goals. The goal that Jenik scored to make extend Belleville's lead to 5-1 completed the Gordie Howe hat trick.

Belleville goaltender Malcolm Subban stood tall after allowing in one goal and finished the game with making 23 saves. Subban did allow one goal in the third period, but the lead for Belleville was cut to 5-2 when the goal was scored.
