Norris scored two goals in the loss to the Penguins, but his preseason has been fantastic overall. While playing in three games this preseason, Norris has recorded six points for the Sabres.

Norris has been better this preseason than Dylan Cozens, which was the player the Senators received back from the March trade. However, the old saying of "it's preseason" can be said.
The first Senators-Sabres game this season is scheduled for Oct. 15 at KeyBank Center in Buffalo. If Norris is healthy, it will be his first game against the Senators after being traded away. Norris missed the two meeting last season after being traded due to being injured.
The Sabres have one more preseason game scheduled for tomorrow with a rematch against the Penguins, but this time the game will be played in Pittsburgh. The Senators have two more preseason games with one of them being tonight against the St. Louis Blues.
