The Stars step up with the penultimate pick in the first round with the Bruins pick that they received for Jaromir Jagr.  While I have them selecting Hunter Shinkaruk with their first pick at #10, they still need to focus on proficient offensive forwards.

FANSIDED MOCK DRAFT PICK:  Blackout Dallas selected Curtis Lazar

SENSHOT’S CHOICE:   Morgan Klimchuk from the Regina Pats of the WHL.  The Stars get a player with tremendous hockey sense, good speed and is an equal opportunity shooter and passer. He is good at both ends of the ice, and the way he sees the game gives him a distinct advantage in terms of anticipation and knowing where the puck is going to be. He is not overly big, but his determination makes up for it.
