After losing five consecutive games, the Ottawa Senators have now won two consecutive games. The Senators earned a big 4-3 road win against the San Jose Sharks to improve to 10-11-1 on the season. The Senators had lost their past three games in San Jose prior to the win.
The Senators' three-game California road trip now goes from the Bay to the City of Angels as they take on the Los Angeles Kings. When the Senators played the Kings in the first meeting this season on Oct. 14, it was one of the wildest games of the season.

The Senators travel to Crypto.com Arena to take on the Kings with puck drop at 7 p.m. ET. The Senators earned an 8-7 win in overtime against the Kings in the first meeting this season season. In the win, 11 different Senators recorded at least one point.
Despite winning 4-3 against the Sharks on Wednesday, the Senators needed to thank Linus Ullmark for making big saves throughout the entire game. Ullmark made a season-high 36 saves, but the game could've gone another way if Ullmark didn't stand tall. Although the Senators scored four goals, the Senators offense was quiet.
The Senators had 11 shots on goal, including one shot on goal in the third period, but managed to get a big game from their top line of Adam Gaudette, Tim Stutzle and Brady Tkachuk. Gaudette scored two goals, Tkachuk recorded two assists, including his 200th of his career, and Stutzle recorded three assists. Tyler Kleven also scored his first NHL goal in the win.
As for the Kings, they enter tonight's game in second place in the Pacific Division with a 13-8-3 record. The Kings earned a big 2-1 road win yesterday against the Anaheim Ducks to win their second consecutive game.
Anze Kopitar leads the Kings with 20 assists and 27 points. Adrian Kempe leads the Kings with 11 goals, and Alex Laferriere also has 10 goals this season.
The Senators started their California road trip off right with a win on Wednesday, but have another tough game against the Kings in Los Angeles. The Senators have not swept a season series against the Kings since the 2018-19 season.
