Former Ottawa Senators forward Connor Brown is still searching for his first Stanley Cup championship in his NHL career at 31 years old. Brown played three seasons for the Senators from 2019-2022.

Last season, Brown joined the Edmonton Oilers and reached the 2024 Stanley Cup Finals, but fell to the Florida Panthers in seven games.

One year later, the 2025 Stanley Cup Finals is a rematch between the Panthers and Oilers. However, the ex-Senator isn't producing much for the Oilers so far in the Finals.

Brown has been a dud through three games of 2025 Stanley Cup Finals

In Game 1, Brown started the Stanley Cup Finals rough with recording no points along with a -2 rating, which was the lowest on the Oilers' roster in Game 1. Brown's game was saved when the Oilers won Game 1 in overtime by a final of 4-3. But, the past two games have continued to see struggles for Brown and the Oilers.

The Oilers fell in Game 2 by a final of 5-4 in double overtime, and then were blown out in Game 3. With losing back-to-back games, Brown and the Oilers trail the series 2-1.

Brown went pointless in Game 2 and again in Game 3. However, Game 3 was a brutal loss for Brown and the Oilers with losing 6-1. Through three games, Brown is pointless and struggling in the Stanley Cup Finals. Brown's production hasn't been there for the Oilers as it was earlier in the playoffs.

Tensions and frustrations hit Brown and the Oilers at a high during the game. While Brown had no penalty minutes with the Oilers having 85 combined penalty minutes, Brown was seen getting chippy at times during the game.

Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals will be on Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. Brown and the Oilers will need a win in Game 4 to avoid going back home to Edmonton for Game 5 in a 3-1 hole at Rogers Place.
