The Winter Olympics is a high honor for anyone to compete in. Since 2014, NHL players have not competed in the Olympics.
That will change in 2026. The NHL will have players compete for their respected countries in the Olympics.
For the Ottawa Senators, they will have two current players compete for their countries in the Olympics as of now. Earlier today, Tim Stutzle was announced for Germany's roster. Now, the Senators captain will represent his country.
Brady will represent Team USA in 2026 Olympics
The first six players for teams competing in the Olympics were announced throughout the day. Stutzle was one of the first six players to represent Germany, then it was Brady Tkachuk's turn.
Brady will be representing the United States at the 2026 Olympics. Brady played for Team USA at the 4 Nations Face-Off, and now will play in the Olympics.

Jack Eichel, Quinn Hughes, Auston Matthews, Charlie McAvoy and Brady's brother Matthew Tkachuk were the other five players announced as the first six players to be named to Team USA's roster.
Brady and Matthew made their presence known in the 4 Nations Face-Off this past February when each of them got into a fight in the USA-Canada game on Feb. 15.
Brady continued to have his game grow for Team USA when he scored USA's first goal of the 4 Nations Face-Off and scored a goal in the championship game.
Brady led the Senators back to the playoffs for the first time in eight years. Now, Brady will wear his country's jersey in the Olympics in 2026.
