SENSHOT’S CHOICE: Ryan Hartman from the Plymouth Whalers of the OHL. Vancouver has the skill, and they have some grit, but don’t have a lot of skilled grit. Hartman helps in this area, as he is a power forward who is chippy and is the type of player who would fit nicely into John Tortorella’s good books. He won’t set the world on fire offensively but can contribute, but his physical play and defensive awareness for an 18 year old will benefit the Canucks in the future.
