One player the Ottawa Senators need to have back in the lineup to produce offense is Shane Pinto. For the past seven games, the Senators have been without Pinto in the lineup due to an undisclosed injury.

The Senators received big news yesterday that defenseman Artem Zub was ready to return to the lineup yesterday against the New York Islanders after missing nine games. Pinto did participate in the morning skate before the game yesterday, but wasn't ready yet to play.

As the Senators are now 6-7-0 and headed to Beantown tomorrow to play the Boston Bruins, the season could start spiraling bad with Pinto still out. However, head coach Travis Green provided an update on Pinto that can excite the team and fans.

Pinto has a chance to play tomorrow vs Bruins according to Green

According to TSN 1200 Ottawa, the Senators had their morning skate today and Green said that there is a chance that Pinto could play tomorrow. Having Pinto return would give the Senators an extra boost of energy and offense that they need.

The Senators offense has gone extremely cold in November with only scoring seven goals four games into the month. The Senators have a 1-3-0 record and have fallen out of a Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.

Having Pinto in the lineup could help change the season before it gets worse. While Pinto only has three points this season, he still has big potential and needs to have a big season at 23 years old. Signs showed that Pinto would be in for a big season after he scored the game-winning goal in the season opener against the Florida Panthers.

Pinto showed he's able to have a big season this season after recording 27 points in 41 games last season after he served his 41-game suspension. Due to injuries this season, Pinto hasn't been able to show his full potential. If Pinto returns tomorrow to play the Bruins, he can show his potential again.
