Shane Pinto delivers again for Team USA

Throughout the 2024-25 season, Ottawa Senators forward Shane Pinto has risen his game tremendously at 24 years old to show his potential. Pinto set two new career highs with 37 points and 21 goals.

Since the Senators have been eliminated from the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs by the Toronto Maple Leafs on May 1, Pinto has spent his time playing for Team USA in the 2025 IIHF World Championship.

Raising your game on an International stage is a great way for a player to gain more experience and raise their game. For Pinto, he's continuing to raise his game for his country.

Pinto delivers three-point game against Sweden

Against Finland earlier this week, Pinto scored his first goal of the 2025 IIHF World Championship to help Team USA clinch a semifinal birth. Today against Sweden, Pinto continued to raise his game and came through big for Team USA.

Team USA defeated Sweden 6-2 to reach the final. A big part of Team USA's win was Pinto, who recorded a three-point game.

With his three-point game, Pinto now have 10 points for Team USA in the 2025 IIHF World Championship. It's clear that Pinto is raising his game and confidence while making his country proud.

Pinto recorded the primary assist on the first two goals Team USA scored by Brady Skjei and Cutter Gauthier. Then, Pinto scored the final goal of the game for Team USA with over four minutes remaining in the game with an empty-net goal.

Team USA and Pinto are now off to the finals. The Finals will offer another chance for people to take note of Pinto.
