Ottawa Senators: Ho-Sang and Baertschi worth waiver consideration
Two very intriguing players are on waivers and the Ottawa Senators should consider making a claim for one of them.
The Ottawa Senators are building a team based around youth and promise and two players currently on waivers could be worth making a claim for.
Josh Ho-Sang has had a difficult time developing his raw talent in the New York Islanders organisation and once again finds himself on the verge of another season in Bridgeport.
This will be the 28th overall pick of the 2014 Draft’s fourth professional season after failing to lock down a role on the Islanders.

Ho-Sang has shown flashes of his talent and it may be time for another team to take a gamble on him to see if a fresh start might kickstart his career.
The Senators could be the ideal destination for him, with expectations of winning very low and a focus on development allowing him to play with less pressure.
He could easily find himself playing big minutes in the Canadian capital and may flourish in a similar way that Anthony Duclair has so far.
One other player that may even be worth more consideration is Swiss forward Sven Baertschi, who has been a regular for the Vancouver Canucks over the past few seasons.
The 26-year-old is a surprise on the waiver wire and would be an immediate upgrade on some of the players expected to start for the Senators this season.
With a cap hit of $3,366,666 for the next two seasons and an ability to score around 15 goals a season consistently, Baertschi would be a great pickup for the Ottawa Senators.
There are concerns after he suffered a concussion last season, but his talent is clear to see and could fit in perfectly among the middle six.
In an ideal world, the Ottawa Senators would be able to claim both players to truly bolster their rebuilding squad.
Unfortunately, the Sens already have 49 contracts signed for this season, meaning they have just one slot available.
Baertschi arguably could have the biggest impact early on but Ho-Sang still has the raw talent to develop.
What do you think Sens fans? Which of these players would you target? Who would be the best for the rebuild? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
