Ottawa Senators Look To End Seven Game Skid Against Islanders

The Ottawa Senators enter the second game of their road trip coming off a loss to the Montreal Canadiens. It was their seventh loss straight. They will look to end the skid against the New York Islanders tonight.

The Ottawa Senators last played the Islanders last Saturday. They fell 2-1 in the contest. Now the Sens will be looking to return the flavour in the Islanders building.

Guy Boucher has decided to go with 12 forwards tonight. They will be: Mike Hoffman, Matt Duchene, Zack Smith, Mark Stone, Derick Brassard, Bobby Ryan, Ryan Dzingel, Jean-Gabriel Pageau, Tom Pyatt, Alex Burrows, Nate Thompson, and Gabriel Dumont.

Defence

On defence the Sens will scratch Ben Harpur tonight. That means the six defencemen playing are: Johnny Oduya, Erik Karlsson, Dion Phaneuf, Cody Ceci, Fredrik Claesson, and Thomas Chabot.

Goal

In goal Craig Anderson will get the start. Anderson last played against the Islanders one week ago. He played well in that game, allowing just two goals and will look for a repeat performance tonight.
