The Ottawa Senators took on the Toronto Maple Leafs on Hockey Night In Canada.

The Ottawa Senators hosted the Toronto Maple Leafs Saturday on Hockey Night in Canada. The Senators entered tonight hoping to end a four-game losing streak. The Senators ended up loosing in the shoot-out 5-4.

First Period

Jake McCabe opens the scoring tonight as he puts the Toronto Maple Leafs on the board with his first goal as a Maple Leaf.

With 5:22 left to play in the first period, Julien Gauthier scores to even the score at 1.

Tim Stutzle scores his 35th goal of the season on the penalty kill to give the Senators the lead for the first time of the evening. 2-1 He scores with 14:28 left to play in the period.

Calle Jarnkrok scores his 16th goal of the season with 10:44 left to play in the period. 3-2 Toronto.

The Period Ends 3-2 for the Maple Leafs with the Senators leading in shots 37-20.

Third Period

Captain Brady Tkachuk cuts the deficit to 1 with 9:18 left to play. It is his 29th goal of the season.

Alex DeBrincat scores off of a pass from Claude Giroux to tie the game at 4. The play was reviewed for offside and the goal has been called back.
