Earlier today, the Belleville Senators signed a goalie to a PTO

Ryan Bednard of the Greenville Swamp Rabbits of the ECHL has signed a PTO with the Belleville Senators as injuries have decimated the goaltending depth of the Ottawa Senators organization.

Bednard is a 25 year old goaltender, originally drafted by the Florida Panthers in the 7th round of the 2015 NHL draft. So far in his career, he has been passed around between the ECHL and AHL. He has most previously played for the Greenville Swamp Rabbits of the ECHL. In 17 games with the Swamp Rabbits, he went 10-6-1 with a S% of .913 and GAA of 2.77.

There has been no status update to goaltender Dylan Ferguson at the time of writing, but it can be assumed he could miss some time. Either that or Bednard will simply suit up in practice. Not much is known yet on that front.
