As the Belleville Senators season progress, they have just acquired a depth forward

The Belleville Senators have traded defenseman Xavier Bernard to the Bakersfiele Condors in exchange for forward Graham McPhee.

The Belleville Senators currently have a record of 16-24-27 and are in 6th place in their division. As playoffs seem unlikely, they are looking to acquire players for the future. Graham McPhee was drafted in the fifth round of the 2016 draft. He has appeared in 27 games for the Condors this year scoring 1 goal and 4 assists.

GM of the Belleville Senators Ryan Bowness had this to say: “Graham is a hard-working, character forward that plays the game the right way and will be a welcome addition to our group, particularly on the penalty kill,”

Xavier Bernard was drafted in the fourth round of the same draft by the New Jersey Devils. He has spent time between the AHL and ECHL. In 17 games in the AHL, he has 1 assist this season.
