This is the second last segment of the prospect ranking series here on SenShot. We have the third and fourth ranked prospects on the list.

Number 4: Logan Brown

Although his season started off very well for the Senators, he slowed down a bit since then. In his last game he was on the fourth line along with Colin White and J.C. Beaudin.

Brown was an 11th overall pick by the Sens in 2016, they traded up from the 12th pick to select him.

He’s a very tall player standing at six-foot-six, and 220 lbs. He effectively uses his size to create plays and brush off opposing players.

He started off the campaign in Belleville for five games, and notched three goals and four assists for seven points. He got called up to Ottawa, and has a goal and seven assists in 23 games played.

It would not surprise me if Senators management sent him down to Belleville in the next few days or weeks. His play has been disappointing to say the least. A strong end to the season in the minors could help him regain his lost confidence.

He will be an impact player on the Sens for a long time to come, he just needs a bit of conditioning.

Estimated NHL arrival: This year.

Number 3: Josh Norris

A part of the package the Sens received for Erik Karlsson, Norris has been a real bright spot on a Belleville Senators team loaded with talent.

In 29 games with the club this year, he has 14 goals and 24 points total. A very impressive number for an AHL rookie.

He has potential to be the Senators number one centre of the future. So it wouldn’t be a good idea to spoil his development by calling him up anytime this year. Especially because the Senators are loaded with centres at the moment.

Estimated NHL arrival: 2020-21 season.
