Ottawa Senators Set To Play The Nashville Predators

The Ottawa Senators come into a game today against the Nashville Predators in good form after a victory over the New Jersey Devils.

The Ottawa Senators have had a strong run of games as of late, winning three of their past four games. In that time their only loss was against the Montreal Canadiens. The Sens will attempt to continue this run of good form against the Nashville Predators.

Forward

At forward the Sens will likely use the 11 players, same as last game. They will be: Mike Hoffman, Matt Duchene, Colin White, Ryan Dzingel, Zack Smith, Chris DiDomenico, Magnus Paajarvi, Jean-Gabriel Pageau, Tom Pyatt, Max McCormick, and Mike Blunden.

Defence

On defence the Sens will use seven players to compensate for the plethora of injuries on the offence. They will be: Johnny Oduya, Erik Karlsson, Dion Phaneuf, Cody Ceci, Thomas Chabot, Mark Borowiecki, and Fredrik Claesson.

Goal

In goal Craig Anderson will likely get the start with Mike Condon serving as the backup.

Requirements For Victory

The game tonight will see an Ottawa Senators team that is having a terrible season take on the Nashville Predators, a team that is among the best tin the league.

In order to win tonight the Ottawa Senators will need big performances out of Mike Hoffman, Matt Duchene, and Erik Karlsson. With much of their offence out with injuries, the remaining offensive weapons the Sens have will need to step up. In addition the Sens will a big performance out of Craig Anderson who has had a bad season overall.
