The Ottawa Senators will be looking to string wins together for the first time since their trip to Sweden over a month ago. They will do so in the NHL 100 Classic against the Montreal Canadiens tonight.

The story for tonight is that the game is to celebrate 100 years of the NHL. The Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens will faceoff outdoors at Lansdowne Park in Ottawa tonight.

Forward

The Sens aren’t expected to make any changes to the lineup tonight. This means the forwards will be: Bobby Ryan, Matt Duchene, Mark Stone, Ryan Dzingel, Derick Brassard, Tom Pyatt, Mike Hoffman, Jean-Gabriel Pageau, Zack Smith, Alex Burrows, Nate Thompson, and Gabriel Dumont.

Defence

On defence the Sens will use the same six as last game. Those players are: Johnny Oduya, Erik Karlsson, Dion Phaneuf, Cody Ceci, Fredrik Claesson, and Thomas Chabot.

Goal

Just Another Game

Despite the celebration and festivities that come with an outdoor game, the Ottawa Senators must remain focused on the task at hand. They need to treat this like any other game and with the same mindset. A win against the Rangers is great news for the team, but it doesn’t matter if they can’t string wins together. With the terrible month that they’ve had the Sens have dug themselves into a hole in the standings. In order to get out they will need to go on a winning streak.
