Ottawa Senators Look To Find Success Versus Sharks
The Ottawa Senators prepare for their final game in California tonight versus the San Jose Sharks. They will be looking for their first win in the three game stretch.
After a late goal against the Kings, it seemed like the Ottawa Senators were set for a victory. Unfortunately, they fell in overtime to their Western counter parts. Now they will look for a reversal of fortunes versus the San Jose Sharks.
Forward
The forwards tonight shouldn’t see any changes. They will be: Bobby Ryan, Derick Brassard, Mark Stone, Zack Smith, Matt Duchene, Ryan Dzingel, Mike Hoffman, Jean-Gabriel Pageau, Gabriel Dumont, Tom Pyatt, Nate Thompson, and Alex Burrows.
Defence
The defence will be interesting tonight. There will only be six players used. In recent games it has been Claesson who got the scratch, but we’ll see if he is out once again. The six that have been used recently are: Ben Harpur, Erik Karlsson, Dion Phaneuf, Thomas Chabot, Johnny Oduya, and Cody Ceci.
Goal
In goal, it’s likely that Craig Anderson gets the start. Condon had a strong performance against the Kings but and abysmal one against the Ducks. As a result, Anderson will likely start tonight.

A Need To Win Now
The Sens managed to pick up a point against the Kings the other night but that isn’t enough. The Ottawa Senators are in desperate need of wins and fast. They need to pick up the win tonight as they continue to fall down the standings. To do so they will need a strong performance from Anderson, Karlsson, and Duchene.
