The Ottawa Senators are coming off a win over the Detroit Red Wings. Now they will look to string wins together in their first ever game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Golden Knights will be looking to stop a three game losing skid today. In the contrast, the Ottawa Senators will look to post back to back wins for the first time since their trip through Western Canada.
Forward
There will be no changes to the Ottawa Senators lineup and as a result they will stick with 12 forwards. They will be: Zack Smith, Kyle Turris, Ryan Dzingel, Tom Pyatt, Derick Brassard, Mark Stone, Mike Hoffman, Jean-Gabriel Pageau, Chris DiDomenico, Alex Burrows, Nate Thompson, and Jack Rodewald.
Defence
On defence the Sens will use: Johnny Oduya, Erik Karlsson, Dion Phaneuf, Cody Ceci, Fredrik Claesson, and Chris Wideman.
Goal
In goal the Sens will opt to go back to Craig Anderson. Despite a poor performance against Montreal he was able to bounce back and perform remarkably against Detroit.

Story Of The Night
The main story tonight as it always with in a game with Vegas will be of the goalies. Vegas has had terrible luck with their goaltenders to start the season. Already they have had three goalies fall to injury. On a team that doesn’t have great depth due to being an expansion team this is devastating. As a result, Vegas is now on their fourth string goaltender.
This is perfect opportunity for the Ottawa Senators to take advantage of a weakened Vegas team. The goaltending matchup is a mismatch and if the Sens just keep putting shots on net they should have no trouble breaking the rookie goaltender from Vegas. Despite all this the Ottawa Senators should come prepared as Vegas has played surprisingly well to start the season.
