In a busy week the Binghamton Senators played four games, going 3-1.
The only loss came Monday night against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Mike Kostka scored his first of the season to open the scoring on the power play. Chris Rumble and Jack Rodewald picked up the assists.
Mike Blunden retook the Baby Sens lead while Nick Paul and Ben Harpur collected the helpers at 6:07 in the 2nd period.
Chris Carlisle gave the Sens a two goal lead with Gulliame Lepine and Phil Verone adding the helpers. The WBS Penguins answered back just 24 seconds later.
Jack Rodewald gave the Senators a two goal lead. Chad Nehring and Chris Rumble added the assists. In the second and third the WBS Penguins added three unanswered goals for the win.
Matt O’Connor allowed 5 goals on 39 shots for a .872 SV%.
Baby Sens defeat the Marlies 3-1 in Bingo
The Toronto Marlies opened the scoring on a power play late in the first period.
The Senators responded late in the first period with a goal scored by Ben Harpur with Patrick Sieloff and Nick Paul earning the helpers.
The Baby Senators added two more goals. Francis Perron would score from Bubby Robinson and Chad Nehring in the second period.
Max McCormick added the Empty Netter unassisted.
Chris Driedger allowed 1 goal on 26 shots for a .962 SV% on the night.
The Senators only road game of the week came on Friday night in Syracuse New York.
Red hot Jake Rodewald would open the scoring for the Baby Sens on the power-play Phil Varone and Mike Kostka added the helpers.
The Crunch added the next two goals, taking a 2-1 lead. Buddy Robinson would draw the Baby Sens even at 19:23 in the second period. Francis Perron and Nick Paul would add the assists.
The game was scoreless in the third period and overtime. Phil Varone scored the only shootout goal as Chris Driedger turned aside all three Crunch shooters.

The Senators would avenge their Monday night loss to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on New Year’s Eve in Binghamton.
The Penguins opened the scoring early in the first frame. Jason Akeson scored his first of the season on the power play. Phil Verone and Ben Harpur added the assists.
Binghamton would strike twice in the second frame. Jason Akeson scored his second of the game and season. Phil Verone and Chris Rumble add the helpers.
Buddy Robinson scored the game winning goal from Francis Perron.
Chris Driedger allowed 2 goals on 46 shots for a .957 SV% on the night.
