Ottawa Senators Twitter Round-up Featuring Tank Wars, Uptown Funk, Mark Stone And More
It’s hard to appreciate the good week the Ottawa Senators just had when you lose in a shootout against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Winning three straight games against the Detroit Red Wings, Tampa Bay Lighting and Washington Capitals and gaining 7 out of a possible 8 points this week is really good. Losing to the Leafs just sucks and those losses cut deeper then most. So let’s continue being positive as our hopes of making the playoffs aren’t over.
Usually this post is up on Friday but I’m a little late…it’s Monday now and we all need some cheering up to do! So here we go, Senshot.com’s “Weekly Twitter Round Up!”
Tanking At Its Finest
Submitted By : Trevor Shackles (@ShackTS)
I thought this was hilarious. The NHL seems oblivious sometimes, but maybe this was slightly on purpose? Seems like a massive coincidence otherwise.
Binghamton Senators Tweet Of The Week
Submitted By : Jeff Ulmer (@Ski931)
I think the fans in Binghamton have a new fan favourite. Little boy breaks out and dances to “Uptown Funk” during the game. Hilarious!
Chiasson d’avril
Submitted By : Josh Chenoweth (@JoshyCanuck87)
Oh, if only Chiasson being a Sens regular were an April Fools joke.
Mark Stone Takeaways
Submitted By : Jack Leiper (@SensUnofficial)
This one is good posted by 6th Sens, I’ve loved Mark Stone’s game lately, as has the rest of the league. Good on him.
We Day, Sens
Submitted By : Eldrinson Vado (@Eldrinson_Vado)
The Captain, Chris Neil and Chris Phillips were part of an extraordinary conference called “We Day.” Inspiring young children and teenagers to take action in local and global issues.
It’s been another great week in the Sens Twitter World, lots of entertaining tweets and conversations just this past week. Let’s hope next time I write this post that the Sens are actually in a playoff position. Keep your fingers crossed guys. Here are some other great tweets from the past seven days, enjoy!
