MATCH-UP HISTORY

Senators have won 2 out of 6 with 8 scheduled as the latest game was a 4-2 win by the Sens on Mar 8th by a score of 4-2.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Yanni Gourde, SYR – The 23-year-old undrafted rookie forward is having some kind of season for the Crunch as he has identical 26 goals and 26 assists in 67 games during his inaugural pro career while a +17 and second on the team with 145 SOG’s.

None, BNG – Let’s face it, this season has become a bust and to further support it, the high-powered offense has only tricked the twine three times in the last three losses. With the first line consisting of Carter Camper along with third year pro’s Shane Prince and Cole Schneider, it’s all gone ridiculously cold as of late as the last two weeks of the year with the club finishing out the season.

THREE KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Senators Offensive Shutdown – The Senators have rocked all season long as they are currently in 4th place averaging 3.10 goals per game, but have the disadvantage of allowing a league worst 3.42. The law of averages finally win in the end as they have hit a wall as of late.

2. Shots the Next Issue Binghamton is currently 4th in SOG with a 32.34 average, while giving up 34.55 per game which is the AHL’s worst out of 30 teams. It’s been a very frustrating season to say the least as the club struggles on defense.

3. Syracuse Knows how to Win – If you’re a Crunch fan it’s been an exciting season heading to the playoffs. Otherwise Senators’ fans, it has been an up and down season which has been frustrating to say the least as this year winds down with rumors of the parent club not giving a crap. Bottom line, losing does suck and gets old very quick.
