Its been a crazy couple of days over here in the “Sens Twitter” world. With the Ottawa Senators now sitting just five points out of a playoff spot, anything can happen! Just two weeks ago fans we were discussing “tanking” and now we’re talking about playoffs? Playoffs?
Anyways…back to the real reason I’m writing this, Senshot.com presents the best of Twitter over the past seven days, Ottawa Senators Twitter Round Up. Enjoy!
First Tweet: Steve Dangle and CapGeek
Gary Bettman’s comment that fans aren’t interested in a site like Capgeek is short sited to say the least. Or he’s more interested in sparing GMs the scrutiny that comes from a site that exposes the dumb contracts they sign for the average fan.
Steve Dangle took matters into his own hands and showed just how much interest fans did have for CapGeek. What used to be the unofficial number one site for contract/salary cap information.
Second Tweet : Career First’s Against The Ottawa Senators
It’s a running joke in Ottawa that every rookie that plays against them is bound to record some sort of career first. Nobody’s really kept track though… until now! Kevin Lee (@BringBackLee) put together a really great infographic showing who and when score their first career goal, assist, win and shutout against Ottawa since the 2012-13′ season.
Third Tweet : Matty Go Sens Is At It Again
Matty Go Sens (@Gerv_Rebrand) always seems to make me laugh with his god like photoshop skills. Now with Senators goalie, Andrew Hammond at the top of his game and posting two straight shutouts, I think it’s time to have a statue of him in front of the Canadian Tire Center. I know Matty will agree.
Here are some other great tweets from the past seven days…
Binghamton Senators Tweet of The Week : Submitted by our editor, Jeff Ulmer.
