MATCH-UP HISTORY
The Pens have been successful in winning four of five so far this season with three left, beginning with tonight’s meeting between the two rivals.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Conor Sheary, WBS – Solid first year season for the rookie as he leads the team with 25 points (14 goals, 11 assists in 40 games)
Shane Prince, BNG – Continues to shine as he is putting quite the season together while leading the team with 17 goals.
THREE KEYS TO THE GAME
1. Defensive Struggles – Even though the back line has had a rash of injuries this season, there has been little space for error as the defense has shad some holes with the exception of a player or two.
2. Greenham Tonight? – With Andrew Hammond still up in Ottawa, Binghamton has to rely on Greenham and veteran Peter Mannino as the two have been getting plenty of action but it should be Greenham’s turn tonight with Mannino letting in a whole bunch last Sunday.
3. Can They Win on the Road? – It’s not getting any easier as the latest stat showing the club has a 1.6% chance of making the playoffs as they are away from home for the next five games.
