Ottawa Senators .Gifs: Best of 2014

The early part of the 14-15 season has been an interesting one for the Ottawa Senators. We’ve seen a fair share of highlight reel goals, and big body checks. So here’s to 2014 and here’s a compilation of the best of the best when it comes to Senators .Gifs.

This one goes back to October 11th, where we saw Erik Karlsson give a pounding to Ryan Callahan.

The Senators would win that game in the SO, a game that featured a nice SO goal by Mika Zibanejad, In gif form: www.gfycat.com/MarriedFoolishHarrierhawk

October 18th vs Columbus brought us a couple of beauties. We saw Mike Hoffman get on the board with a goal where little space was available http://www.gfycat.com/OilyObeseAmericanpainthorse

And Robin Lehner who robbed Alex Wennberg of his first NHL goal.

Another beautiful Gif of Mark Stone‘s 3rd Goal of the Season.

With Marc Méthot out of the lineup, then Sens coach, Paul MacLean gave the message to his defensive group to learn how to hip check. And Erik Karlsson did, laying it to Jets F Evander Kane.

An who can forget Paul MacLean’s famous last-game “Fist Pump”

And of course, Bobby Ryan did some stuff against the L.A. Kings.

Lastly, it was Kyle Turris where a solo paid off to put one past Ilya Bryzgalov. This one came just a couple days ago, where the Senators took a 6-2 win over Anaheim.

Obviously there are plenty more highlights from the early going. Here’s a few more of my favourites.

Here we are, off to the Christmas break. Roster freeze in place, the World Juniors are set to occupy our time as the Senators have 2 representatives this season in Nick Paul and Curtis Lazar.
