Ottawa Senators @ Canadiens. Our Predictions

Trevor Shackles (13-18)

The “fat bug-eyed walrus” era is over between Ottawa and Montreal. Alas, this rivalry is still very fierce. I’m expecting a very entertaining game, and I think Ottawa will actually come away with the win. Since it’s in Montreal, the chants of “Pageau, Pageau, Pageau, Pageauuu” will have to wait. I can’t wait for this one.

The Ottawa Senators are a bit of a roll right now under new coach Dave Cameron. Tonight is the first time Dave and the Senators face the Canadiens this season and as always this divisional match up never is short of entertainment.

The Ottawa Senators did play last night which may cause some fatigue for the team but I believe enough adrenaline will keep the team going against their long time rivals. I’m picking Ottawa in a close one 3-2.

Okay, let’s be real here. You can’t have “Habs” without “bs”. Get it? Because for some reason there’s a lot of terrible calls against the Sens when they play the Habs. And the letters b and s are in “Habs”. Man that was clever. SENS WIN.

I liked Ottawa’s game vs Anaheim. I’m not sure if I’m going to like Ottawa’s game @ Montreal. The Habs always seem to give us a tough time and I’m really up in the air as to who will win this one.

The world juniors are around the corner, and Curtis Lazar is out of the lineup for Ottawa. We saw an incredible offensive power from Ottawa, which makes me think they continue their streak. Ottawa wins.

Habs and Senators are in for a battle. Ottawa will continue to roll tonight and defeat the rival Canadiens. I predict a ton of saves from Robin Lehner and some offense from Erik Karlsson. I don’t predict a goal of the year since Turris and Ryan’s goals will be hard to top.

This is an important game for the Senators. Not only are the Has a division rival, but last year they had their way with the Sens, beating them in 3 of 5 meetings. Pacioretty is questionable for tonight after a greasy hit from the Ducks’ Clayton Stoner, so hopefully we can take advantage of his probable absence.

Our 1B line of 69-93-6 is gonna be big for us again tonight,  I say the Senators take it 3-1.

Sens lose 3-1 to the Habs. Coming off a surprising win over the Ducks, the Sens are riding high. However, the Habs are well rested while Ottawa played last night. And since the 2013 playoffs, the Habs are always looking to get a measure of revenge against the Sens.
