The Adirondack Flames invade the Arena but unfortunately for the one time this season as the two teams play each other twice despite being only 180 miles apart. Binghamton Senators are coming in hot winning their last three while going 5-0-0-1 in their last six as the Flames have ended their three game losing streak with a win over Texas on Friday.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Nolan Yonkman, ADK – The 33-year-old journeyman is serving as the Captain of Adirondack in guiding the younger players just like Aaron Johnson‘s current role is in Binghamton. The latter might have some more talent, but Yonkman is playing a bigger role in helping the coaching staff in leading by example.
Jean-Gabriel Pageau, BNG – Pageau has been solid in helping the Senators get in the right direction as they climb up the Eastern Conference ladder. He’s scored 7 goals while adding 10 assists for 17 points in 21 games and a +7 and has emerged as the go to guy for all situation’s.
THREE KEYS TO THE GAME
1. Keep the Senators’ Thriving Offense Going – After Friday’s 4-1 victory, Binghamton is tied with Oklahoma City and San Antonio for the overall lead in the league averaging 3.43 goals per game as the offense is heading the club’s resurrection in the right direction with the defense beginning to come together as well.
2. Hold the Flames’ in Check – Adirondack won on Friday ending their three game losing streak that previously had experienced a nine game winning streak. As to which team shows up tonight remains a mystery but the Senators need to keep the Flames from building on another win streak.
3. Get Chris Driedger Another Win – Driedger won in his previous outing beating the Crunch 6-3 in Syracuse on Nov 28th as I’m anticipating he’ll get the start with Scott Greenham going on Sunday in Hartford.
