Shane Prince Selected As CCM/AHL Player Of The Week

For the second time this season a Binghamton Senator has earned Player of the Week honors as Shane Prince was selected for his effort’s last week scoring 5 goals and 1 assist in three games in winning the honor for the first time in his three-year career. He currently has a seven game point streak as he has helped the Senators win five of their last seven games as they continue to improve in turning the corner after a sluggish start.

Defenseman Chris Wideman took the honors in the last week of October as here is a list of all past winners for Binghamton;  Robin Lehner (01/2013), Josh Hennessy (03/2010, 11/2009), Mike Brodeur (11/2009), Denis Hamel (12/2007, 11/2005), Jeff Heerema (04/2006), and Jason Spezza (01/2005, 12/2004).

Prince will receive his etched crystal trophy prior to Saturday’s home game against the Adirondack Flames.
