3 BIG QUESTIONS

 1.  Will the Kings score more this year?  – With Tyler Toffoli and Tanner Pearson likely to nab full-time roles there will be some extra offensive talent on the roster.  Maybe it is the style that Darryl Sutter employs, but the Kings are too talented to be as offensively inept as they were in the regular season.

2.  What is the long-term plan? – The cap crunch is about to hit the Kings after this season.  With some big contracts coming due (Toffoli, Justin Williams, Jake Muzzin, Alec Martinez) after this season and long term salaries on the books, this could be the last season this team as it is remains intact.

3. Can they repeat? – There hasn’t been a back-to-back  Stanley Cup Champion since the Detroit Red Wings turned the trick  in 1997 and 1998.  The Kings will get everyone’s best shot and they will have a target on their back in the regular season.
