COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS
2013-14 RECAP
The Columbus Blue Jackets didn’t only move divisions but also moved conferences, making their Eastern Conference debut. Getting out of the difficult Western Conference helped them out, as did the maturation of the franchise and they made the playoffs for just the second time in their team’s history.
They drew a tough first round opponent in the Pittsburgh Penguins and despite winning the franchise’s first ever playoff game and putting up a good fight, they fell in 6 games to the Pens.
