3 BIG QUESTIONS

 1.  Is MacKinnon ready for the next step? – Nathan MacKinnon won the Calder Trophy as the league’s to rookie, and by all reports he has had a great off-season and is ready to take his game to the next level.

2.  Can they put up a repeat performance? – After the way they finished the season, and their exciting playoff series, the Avs won’t be sneaking up on anyone this season.  Will they continue to push forward, or will they take a step back?

3. Can Iginla finally get a ring? – Jarome Iginla is still searching for the Stanley Cup ring that has eluded him.  One of the fiercest competitors to not have that particular piece of jewelery, he can provide leadership and supporting offense to the young roster and give bits of wisdom to his younger teammates.
