COLORADO AVALANCHE
2013-14 RECAP
The Avalanche were the surprise of the league last season, going from the outhouse to the penthouse with a brash new coach and a young roster filled with talent. They finished on top of the Central Division, 2nd in the Western Conference and 3rd overall with 112 points. A couple of key injuries, most notably to Tyson Barrie in the first round of the playoffs saw them bout out at the hands of the Minnesota Wild in 7 games.
