VIDEO: Meet Sonny Milano – The NHL’s Next Stick-Man

If you haven’t seen the video circulating from the NHL combine today with USA forward Sonny Milano and his, for lack of a better word, puck-juggling act, you don’t know what you are missing.  It is something that is sure to make your jaw drop.

For my money, this trumps

Patrick Kane

stick-handling video gone viral, and you are sure to see this on all the highlight shows and all over social media in the coming weeks and months, especially between now and the draft. Got this from the Winnipeg Jets home page, but you can find it almost anywhere now or soon.

Milano is a draft eligible player who played for the US National Under 18 team this past season, and if an NHL career isn’t in the cards he can always make it as a street performer.

That scenario is not likely to happen, as Milano is the 16th ranked North American skater by Central Scouting and a likely late first round or early second round pick.  This video will not do anything to hurt his draft standing, nor hurt his chances at endorsement deals going forward.

He had 14 goals and 25 assists in 25 games this past season, and not surprisingly his best asset is said to be his puck-handling ability.
