Trade Deadline ‘Sizzles’ And ‘Fizzles’ So Far

Thomas was brought in as insurance against an injury to Kari Lehtonen, and it didn’t take the Stars long to have to cash in that policy.  In Thomas’  second game as a backup, he was called into duty after Lehtonen suffered a head/neck injury and he has taken the ball and run with it.  He got the win in that game and has since gone 1-1-1, and despite less than stellar numbers has helped to keep the Stars in the playoff mix.
