POTENTIAL PAIRINGS

P.K. SubbanAndrei Markov

Josh GorgesAlexei Emelin

Raphael DiazFrancis Bouillon

Jarred Tinordi

There are a lot of questions surrounding the Habs’ blue line after Subban.  Size is an issue, as is the ability to stay healthy.  Andrei Markov is injury prone and aging, and after playing a full season (split between KHL and NHL) healthy, can he do it again.  Emelin likes to hit, and hit hard, but that style of play isn’t really conducive to a player of his stature.  Tinordi can help in the size and strength if he can advance to become a full time NHLer this season.
