Craig Anderson, Bobby Ryan Will Carry Senators Colors To USA Orientation Camp
As expected, a pair of Ottawa Senators were invited to the TEAM USA summer orientation camp.

Goaltender Craig Anderson was one of 6 goalies invited. The first five were expected: Anderson, Jimmy Howard, Jonathan Quick, Ryan Miller and Cory Schneider, while the 6th was a bit of a surprise. John Gibson, who has yet to see regular NHL duty with the Ducks, but played on the US team at the 2013 World Championships, was the 6th netminder invited. He was likely included for the experience and doesn’t look like a contender for an actual spot.
New Senator Bobby Ryan, who was a member of the 2010 Silver Medalists in Vancouver, was among the 24 forwards invited. There were also a few surprises to me on the list, including Alex Galchenyuk, Kyle Palmieri and Beau Bennett.
The US could have a very young squad on the blue line with only four returnees invited and a young group consisting of Danny Dekeyser, Seth Jones, Jacob Trouba who all have very limited NHL experience or none at all. Cam Fowler, Jake Gardiner and John Carlson are also among the next breed of US blueliners invited to camp.
