After a couple of attempts to acquire players were interrupted by the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Boston Bruins have finally acquired an impact player.

The Dallas Stars continued their fire sale and have sent Jaromir Jagr to the Bruins.  In exchange the Bruins reportedly  send a pair of prospects and a draft pick  to Dallas.  This comes on the heels of the Brenden Morrow and Derek Roy trades.

Now we just wait to see if former Flame and current Stars GM Joe Nieuwendyk pulls a Jay Feaster and instead sends Jagr to Pittsburgh. haha.

Jagr is a sure-fire Hall of Famer who can still play, and will add depth to an already strong Boston team.
