When you google “Buddy Robinson” you will likely get two very different types of results. I will let you try it and find out.
But the Buddy Robinson that was signed by the Ottawa Senators out of Lake Superior State today is 6’5″, almost 240 lb winger. While not the top prize coming out of the NCAA (see Danny DeKeyser), he is a potential power forward who may take some time to develop. He is 21 years old, so still young by NCAA free agent standards.

He is a New Jersey native who played tier II junior in Hamilton and Nepean before heading to LSSU. He has some scoring touch in junior, but that didn’t translate very well to the NCAA.
He tallied 26 points in 77 games over his two seasons, turning pro after his sophomore year.
He will likely be assigned to Binghamton for the rest of the season.
