The Kaspers Daugavins Shootout – Yea or Nay?

On a light NHL night, all of the talk is going to be about the shootout attempt of Ottawa Senators winger Kaspars Daugavins.  In case you missed it, it was the same method he used here to score against the Hamilton Bulldogs in the AHL:

So, since he didn’t score on this one, he will face much criticism as well as much accolades for having the guts to try such a move.
