All good things must come to an end, and for the Binghamton Senators, their winning streak was stopped just before it reached double digits.
The Norfolk Admirals, the team against whom the streak began exactly four weeks ago, got goals from Kyle Palmieri, Jordan Hendry and Brandon MacMillan to help the Admirals defeat the Senators 3-1.
Binghamton’s lone goal was a shorthanded marker from Derek Grant. Robin Lehner returned to the Binghamton net after missing a couple of weeks with some minor tweaks. He allowed three goals on 35 shots, while Frederick Andersen stopped 39 of 40 shots fired his way.
The Senators will be back at it fairly quickly as they begin a very busy stretch between now and the end of the year on Wednesday night. It begins with the team they are still chasing for first place in the East Division, the Syracuse Crunch.
