B-Sens Fall 3-2 To Hershey Bears

After winning their first two games of the season, the Binghamton Senators fell 3-2 to the Hershey Bears Friday night.  The Bears scored once in each period to take a 3-0 lead before the Senators scored twice in the last 11 minutes to make a game of it.  Blueliners Andre Benoit (power play) and Tyler Eckford (shorthanded) did the scoring for Bingo, with Mark Stone and Mika Zibanejad each earning an assist.

Ryan Potulny, who was a key part of Binghamton’s Calder Cup Championship team, had two assists for the Bears and was named the game’s second star.

Binghamton outshot Hershey 44-21, with Dany Sabourin shutting the door for the first 49 minutes.   Robin Lehner allowed all three goals, while making only 18 savesm
