Fansided NHL Mock Draft Pick 9 – Winnipeg Jets
With the 9th pick in the Fansided NHL Mock Draft, the Winnipeg Jets select Griffin Reinhart, defenseman from the Edmonton Oil Kings of the WHL
Hockey At the Forks’ announced their selection on behalf of the Jets HERE.
SenShot’s Take
Reinhart is a solid top 10 selection, with the size and edge you need in a top-end blueliner. A key piece of the WHL Champion Oil Kings, he already has NHL size and should be a contender to play for the Canadian World Junior team. He has good bloodlines as his father was a veteran of more than 600 NHL games and his older brother, Max, is a prospect of the Calgary Flames.
The fans of the Jets will enjoy watching this player, especially if he can develop a bit more of a mean streak that will make him more difficult to play against.
