Fansided NHL Mock Draft Pick 8 – Carolina Hurricanes

The Carolina Hurricanes, represented by Cardiac Cane, selects Teuvo Teravainen, LW from Jokerit in the Finnish Elite League.

SenShot’s Take

I don’t know a ton about Teravainen, but from all accounts he is skilled, smooth skater who is lacking in size.  At 5’10”, and between 160-180 lbs, he needs to add some bulk to his frame before making the jump to the NHL, especially as a winger.  The Canes are assembling a pretty talented forward core, but like the Montreal Canadiens of recent years, their skill and size don’t come in the same packages for the most part.
