Non-Sens Game Of The Night – EDM @ TOR

A new feature on SenShot will be highlighting a game that doesn’t involve the Senators, but does impact them in some way.  Even when the Senators are not playing, there is action going on that affects them.

Monday February 6th – Edmonton @ Toronto

Red-hot Sam Gagner and his 11 points in his last 2 games lead the Oilers into the ACC to face the Toronto Maple Leafs for the first game of a 3 game Eastern road trip that will see them come to Ottawa for Hockey Day In Canada on Saturday.

Sens fans will become Oilers fans tonight, because if Toronto wins, they bounce Ottawa to 8th in the conference.  The playoff race has basically come down to 9 teams, with Winnipeg starting to slip out of the race.
