At least there was one upside to last night’s Sens-Leafs debacle at Scotiabank Place. Not only did Do It For Daron night raise awareness on a National level for youth mental health issues, but “Power to the Purple| month also got off to a rousing start as the Sens Foundation tweeted this morning that the event raised $55,000.
The job is not over, as this month there will continue to be increased focus on the community challenges in an effort to raise even more money for research and care.
More information on the challenges can be found at doitfordaron.com.
You can join Team SenShot’s fundraising efforts in the community challenge for a chance to win some hockey tickets!
Congratulations Sens Fans, but don’t let the support stop after just one night. This is an ongoing issue that needs ongoing support!
