It was the second call in as many nights that were mysterious in nature, and both of which cost the Senators dearly. This one arguably cost the Senators a point (maybe 2) in the standings, which could come back to haunt them. The call on Monday that cost the Senators a penalty shot goal was the 4-0 goal in a game they probably weren’t going to win anyway.
