The brand spanking Senators heritage jersey which was slated to be unveiled at Scotiabank Place on October 1st, made a premature, pre-season debut on the weekend.
The unofficial “launch” of the sweater is, allegedly, the doing of Reebok who sent it to a merchandising store at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo. A subsequent photo, along with the new Maple Leaf jersey, were unleashed on the internet, much to the dismay of the Senators organization.
On the positive side, the sweater is absolutely gorgeous, even more-so than the earlier renderings of the jersey leaked to the public. Can’t wait to see this beaut in game action!
