Bruins Push A Game Seven

With what could have been predicted, the Boston Bruins held serve as they won their home game six 5-2 over the Vancouver Canucks. With the win, the Bruins have pushed the Stanley Cup Finals to a Sudden Death, Winner-take-all, always exciting Game seven.

The game started off horribly for the Canucks as forward Mason Raymond got tangled up as he went into the boards and got crunched in an awkward position that forced him to leave the building on a stretcher.

Down a top six forward, things just got worse for the Canucks. After missing an open net to open the scoring, Vancouver fell apart in 4:14 minutes. In that span, Boston made the home crowd happy as they scored four goals. Roberto Luongo was chased as he allowed three goals on eight shots and the game was over before the period was ten minutes old.

Game seven goes Wednesday night in Vancouver as one team will hoist the Stanley Cup. Will the home advantage hold true and will Vancouver win in front of their fans? Or will Boston’s incredible playoff run end with a third game seven victory? Either way, this game should be very close and the most entertaining of the series thus far.
